Adult Formation Resumes January 4
St. B’s will launch a new season of Adult Formation classes on Sunday, January 4 at 10:00 a.m., offering two thoughtful and inviting opportunities for spiritual growth, reflection, and connection. Whether you are drawn to theological exploration or storytelling rooted in lived experience, these classes are designed to meet adults where they are and invite deeper engagement with faith.
One option, The Trinity: Confusing, Intimidating, or Life-Changing?, will be led by Tim Jones and meet in the Gym. Many Christians are curious about the doctrine of the Trinity yet unsure how—or if—it connects to everyday life. This class approaches the Trinity not as an abstract puzzle, but as a profoundly personal portrait of God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Rather than complicating faith, the class explores how this ancient belief can warm it, offering meaning, comfort, and relevance for a broken world and our sometimes lonely lives. Tim will draw on insights from his forthcoming book, Fully Beloved: Meeting God in Our Heartaches and Our Hopes.
The second offering, Pilgrimage, will be led by Morgan Wills, Fr. Josh, and other St. B’s members, meeting in Wallace Hall. This class invites participants to hear firsthand stories from those who have traveled on pilgrimages to sacred places around the world. Through storytelling and conversation, the class will explore how pilgrimage—both physical and spiritual—shapes faith, perspective, and community.
All are encouraged to attend and be part of this season of learning and reflection.
