Siloam Health

Being the Hands and Feet of Jesus

At St. Bartholomew, our Mission & Outreach (M&O) ministry believes in being the hands and feet of Jesus, showing His love through action. That's exactly what we're doing through our partnership with Siloam Health—a faith-based healthcare organization right here in Nashville that serves our city's most vulnerable neighbors.

Healthcare Transformed by Love

Every day, Siloam Health provides whole-person medical care to Nashville's uninsured and underserved populations. Their patients come from more than 80 countries and speak over 50 languages, with 90% born outside the United States. But this isn't just about treating symptoms. It's about seeing every person as an image-bearer of God deserving of dignity, respect, and compassionate care.

That's the heart of what we're partnering with: the love of Christ made tangible through healing.

Why This Matters to Us

One in eight Nashville residents was born outside the United States. These are our neighbors: serving our food, building our homes, caring for our children. Many work essential jobs without health insurance, and without Siloam, they have nowhere to turn for medical care.

Siloam's Impact:

  • Serves over 6,500 people annually

  • Over 500 volunteers contribute 13,000 hours of service each year

  • Provides comprehensive care regardless of ability to pay

  • Welcomed 2,391 new patients this past year

This is Jeremiah 30:17 in action: "But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,' declares the Lord."
