Percy Priest Elementary Blood Drive

Percy Priest Elementary is hosting a blood drive on August 5th in support of Kate Bristow, who is the granddaughter of St. B’s members, Charlie and Mickey Newman. She was diagnosed this spring with a rare blood disease called aplastic anemia. It has been an incredibly difficult few months for her and her entire family. Kate recently received a successful bone marrow transplant from her younger brother.  During her hospital stays, Kate has had many blood and platelet transfusions, and it has inspired others to donate and ensure Middle Tennessee closes the gap on the blood shortage they are experiencing. To sign up, please go here.
