Prayer Vigil

Since 1958, the Episcopal Church has opposed the death penalty as we acknowledge that all life is sacred. Christina Pike is scheduled to be executed on Wednesday, September 30th. If this sentence is carried out, she will be the first woman executed in Tennessee in over 200 years.  While her guilt is not in question; her execution is contrary to the beliefs of the Church.  If her execution is not stayed, you are invited to pray with us at 6:00 pm on September 30th, (weather permitting) in front of the bell where we will hold vigil.
