Daily Eucharist

Daily Office

The Daily Office is an ancient way of bringing rhythm to the day. Stopping four times a day for prayer (Morning, Noonday, Evening, and Night) provides not only structure but also an opportunity for rest. We are convinced that an entire church family building their days around prayer may very well change the world.

Morning Prayer and Compline continue to be offered, Monday through Friday, at 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. on Facebook Live If you do not have a Facebook account, you can still view the stream.

Connections

Once a week, a short video is posted on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram to help us stay connected. Fr. Sammy, staff, and other leaders in the congregation share a brief reflection.

Pastoral Care

Staying connected continues to be one of the many challenges of physical distancing. So, please continue to pray and reach out to each other through calls and Facetime, Morning Prayer, Compline online, virtual hangouts, or cards in the mail. Also if you are willing to deliver groceries or connect with parishioners-in-need, please email Butch at pastoralcare@stbs.net

The staff stands ready to help in any way we can.

Facility Hours

The church office is now open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Staff work from both the office and home. They are available by appointment at the church office, email, or phone. Facility usage is determined on a case by case basis.

The Preschool and P.D.O. began a new school year on Wednesday, August 19 with new safety protocols in place. You can review these here.

1 p.m. Everyday

What began as a staff thing has now turned parish-wide. Set an alarm for 1 p.m. and wherever you are, stop and pray for St. B's, our leadership, and our community.

Sign-Up for our Emails

In this season, we send out three parish-wide emails per week --
a Wednesday E-news, The Rector's Di*gest on Fridays from Fr Sammy, and a Links & Reminders email on Sunday morning. Sign-up for our emails here.

A Note About Safety

St. Bartholomew’s takes your safety seriously. We have implemented protective measures in keeping with local and national public health guidelines to mitigate the risk posed by COVID- 19. At the same time, it is impossible for us to guarantee your safety. All public activities, including in-person worship, have risks related to the virus at this time. By entering you agree that you understand this, assume the risk of exposure to the virus, and agree to release and hold the parish harmless from any claim associated with exposure to the virus. In order for us to better care for our congregants, staff, and the broader community, we ask that you follow all posted guidelines and verbal instructions while in the building or on church grounds.
