What to Expect on Sunday

As you enter the church, you’ll see a few ushers ready to hand you a bulletin, help you find a seat, and point you in the direction of the restrooms and nursery in the Parish Hall next door.

The bulletin contains everything you need for the service including scripture readings, music, and prayers. The bulletin also contains guidelines for when to stand, sit, or kneel. Feel free to participate as you are comfortable and able.

Communion is open to all baptized Christians (including children). Ushers direct the flow to and from the altar rail. If you are not ready to receive communion, you may come forward for a blessing by crossing your arms over your chest or remain in the pew. Gluten free wafers are available, just let the server know.

During communion we offer a prayer desk with church members available to pray with you on the front right side of the altar rail.

Attire ranges from casual to business attire, jeans to jackets, and sneakers to heels. Come however you feel most comfortable.

Children of all ages sit with their families for worship. Children from 4 years old through 6th grade are invited to follow the cross after the reading of the Gospel next door to the Parish Hall for a special children's homily. They return before communion.

Nursing moms are always welcome in worship. If desired, a private room is available in the parish hall building next door.

We also offer nursery care for infants through age three on Sunday mornings.

Children's bulletins, coloring sheets, crayons, and activities are available in the narthex to the left as you enter (building entrance).
