We believe that we are called to be grateful, good stewards of all the gifts that God has given us. The tradition of giving back to God and to the church comes from the Biblical practice of “tithing,” which means to give back a tenth of our earnings to God (Numbers 18:26). We believe that even in the 21st century, giving back to God is still a spiritual matter of living from a place of abundance instead of scarcity.
We see stewardship as more than simply contributing money to the church; it is also about contributing time and talents, and volunteering for ministry and mission. In addition, we believe that giving is part of what tethers us to the St. B's family.
We try to make giving financially as easy a possible. If you have any questions about the following ways to give, please contact Teresa Robinson at trobinson@stbs.net.
