For 400 years, the people of God had been waiting in darkness to hear a word of hope. Join us at the beginning of Advent for reflection, prayer, stillness, and quiet on Saturday, December 3, for our annual Quiet Morning. The morning will include space for individual prayer and reflections from St. B’s Alicia Lewis, a catechist, and therapist. She will lead us through three of the Old Testament prophecies that brought hope into darkness and can stir hope in us as we wait for the coming of Christ. Bring a journal, Bible, or anything else that helps you pray. To help us prepare, please reserve your spot by emailing Sally at schambers@stbs.net.
