Jill Altom

Jill and Clayton started attending St. B's on Pentecost of 2021 with their 3 boys. Jill worked in youth ministry in primarily Episcopal churches for 17 years. So, they were grateful to be embraced by the community of St. B's as "just parishioners."

Jill is involved at St. B's in the music ministry, lay readers, volunteers with The Branch, serves on the Stewardship Committee, and spends much time in and out of the St. B's preschool with her youngest son, Timothy. She is also in the process of launching St. B's new Crowded Table team of volunteers to support those in foster families and their caseworkers.

During the week, Jill teaches teens and preteens part-time at WEB Tutorial and OneTree Tutorial and coaches youth ministry residents for the Center for Youth Ministry Training (CYMT).

In her free time, she loves to spend time with close friends, go on hikes at her Alma Mater Sewanee, visit family back in Texas, bake, and read.

Lindsley Long

I was born and raised in Nashville and grew up attending Christ Church Cathedral with my family. After marrying I spent many years in a local PCA church. When lockdown lifted and church gatherings resumed my husband John and I , and our 3 children ( Sallie 20, Joseph 18, William 15) began attending St Bs. We love it here! John and I serve on the coffee /welcome committee once a month, which has allowed us to meet so many of our wonderful fellow parishioners. My hobbies include things that involve clay, paint or glitter - generally anything that makes a mess! I love dancing, mystery movies and all things Irish. I hold a BA in Spanish from Sewanee and a BSN, RN from Belmont.

Meghan Lucido

My name is Meghan Lucido, and I’ve been attending St. Bs for nearly 15 years, starting just before my second child was born. St. Bs has been a source of strength and support through challenging seasons, and I’ve loved being part of its growth and changes.

My family includes my husband of almost 7 years, Tony, stepdad to my daughters: Canaan (16), Naomi (14), and Hannah (13). We also have two dogs, Otis, a goldendoodle, and Edie, a poodle. I work for the Metro Public Health Department in Behavioral Health and Wellness, connecting the community with resources like therapy, suicide prevention, and harm reduction.

When not working, I enjoy reading, rowing, spending time with my family, and catching up with friends. My kids and I serve as LEMs, torch bearers, and crucifers, and I sing in the choir. We’re involved in youth group, Room In the Inn, and the Bridge, and I recently joined the Epiphany Chili Cook-Off.

St. Bs is a tether to God for me, offering a loving, gracious community that I’m grateful to be part of.

Kathy Patten

Kathy and husband Tom were attracted to St. B’s three years ago by its active justice ministry and community service.  Since then Kathy has served on the JMLT, a Nashville Neighbors refugee support team, and the Shower Up crew.

They have two sons who live locally, five grands, aged 7 and under, and two dogs.

Kathy currently volunteers with Better Decisions prison ministry and Siloam’s behavioral health team. For fun, she likes to read, hike, travel, play duplicate bridge and research 1700’s ancestors.

Jason Truss

Jason Truss joined the St. B’s community in Spring 2010. He currently volunteers with his family at Room in the Inn and has just started as a Board member for St. B’s Preschool & PDO, where he will be treasurer. Jason is husband to Shannon, father to Anna, Bekah, Kate & Wenchi, and is the favorite guy of the family’s three-pound dog Luna.

Jason stepped out of corporate life in mid-2024 to start a venture with his wife offering bridge and fractional CFO services to nonprofits and small/medium-sized businesses. He spends most weekdays deep in Excel spreadsheet models or talking business strategy with his clients’ leadership teams. An avid reader, Jason also squeezes in time to follow the Milwaukee Brewers and Vanderbilt sports. Jason loves to travel and is in steady pursuit of visiting every MLB stadium.
