Preschool Information

St. B's Preschool program is licensed by the Department of Human Services and is consistently rated a 3 star program. We also implement the Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) set by the National Association of Education of Young People (NAEYC).

We consider each child a blessing from the Lord. We strive to provide a loving and accepting atmosphere as we endeavor to give them the highest quality of education.

Preschool hours (3 years old through Pre-K) are from 9:30-2:30 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from late August to May.

Curriculum & Activities

We have an extensive curriculum covering the spectrum of learning and developmental skills. Classrooms are center-based so children have opportunities to participate in math, language, science, writing, music, art, and dramatic play. We use the “Handwriting Without Tears” program to help children learn letter recognition and formation. “Zoo-Phonics” uses letter sounds and gross motor skills to help bring phonics to life. Spanish lessons, in-house field trips, and guest speakers help enhance your child’s learning experience.

Favorite preschool activities include Farm Day, Barnyard Music Day, Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Program, Father’s/Grandfather's Day celebration, Mother’s/Grandmother’s Day celebration, and end of year Family Picnic.
