Pastoral Care
Pastoral care is a primary role of the Church: living together in community, trying to love each other as Christ directed. Pastoral care as a ministry at St. B's is manifested in several different ways. The following are the pastoral care ministries within our community.
Hospital Care Ministry
Provides support to individuals in the hospital through personal visits, prayer, and administering communion. The Hospital Care Ministry team serves as the focal point for communication to the church office in regards to surgeries and hospital stays. If you or a family member are in the hospital, please let the church office know at (615) 377-4750.
Shut-In Ministry
Provides emotional support to St. B's members who are confined to their home or a facility through periodic personal visits, phone conversations and / or written communication.
Bereavement Ministry
The St. B's Bereavement Committee is a recently-formed ministry whose goal is to streamline the process of facilitating hospitality for funerals at the church. They meet with families to discuss plans and then coordinate light snacks and drinks if desired. Contact Suzie Woolwine if you would like to help out with food or assist with planning, etc.

Manna Food Ministries
The Manna Ministry at St. B’s provides food for St. B's families with an illness in the family, as well as for families with loved ones recently released from hospital care. This is a great way to use your culinary skills to help fellow St. B’s family members (or introduce them to your favorite takeout). This ministry is always looking for new members
