Anglicanism 101

Where did the Prayer book come from? How is Anglicanism different from other denominations? How does queen Elizabeth figure into all this? What is a general convention anyway? What do all these symbols around the nave mean? What is a nave for that matter? What actually happens during the Eucharist?

If you've ever wondered these things, then Anglicanism 101 is for you! This very popular 8 week class (held twice yearly at St. B's) answers these questions and many more as it surveys Anglicanism's rich history, doctrinal distinctives and many of the colorful characters who have made us who we are as Episcopalians. Class serves as preparation for the rite of Confirmation as well as an enjoyable refresher for life long Episcopalians.

The next class begins April 7 and runs through June 2. For those wishing to be confirmed, confirmation will be on Sunday, June 6. The class meets on Wednesdays, 6:30 - 8:00pm in the Parish Hall. If you'd like to be confirmed, or if you'd like to sign up for the Anglicanism 101 class, please email the church office at .

Lifebuilders

Sunday mornings at 10:30AM in the Parish Hall

Lifebuilders is a Sunday morning class with lively, pertinent discussion by people who love the Lord, each other and St. B's.

The class is facilitated by David West, Don Paul Gross and Brian Hampton, but the total lesson comes from the wisdom, insight and experience of the attendees. The format includes reading through the scriptures together, viewing films and discussing how they relate to our daily walk with Christ.

There may be an age span of 60 years on any given Sunday, but the atmosphere is warm and inviting to all. Please join us for doughnuts, fellowship, and lively discussion.
